Enrolments for the following school year typically open at the start of Term 3 each year.

In-zone Enrolment

  • Complete your application online for a fast and straightforward process.
  • If you do not have access to an electronic device, computers are available at the front office.
  • Front office staff are available to assist.

Out-of-zone Enrolment

  • All out-of-zone applicants must collect an Out-of-zone Enrolment Pack from school reception.
  • Online applications for out-of-zone enrolments are not accepted and will not be processed.
  • A non-refundable administration fee of $50.00 is payable when the completed application is submitted.

Re-enrolment

If your child has previously attended Rosehill College and you wish to re-enrol them, please contact us directly by emailing [email protected].

We are here to assist you with a smooth and efficient re-enrolment process.

In-zone Enrolment

Incomplete enrolments will not be accepted. Submitting an online application does not automatically confirm enrolment — every application is reviewed, and the school will contact you by email once complete.
Before You Start▾
  • Recommend completing on a desktop computer or laptop for the best experience.
  • Download and complete the required enrolment forms before starting.
  • Forms can be filled electronically using Microsoft Edge or Adobe Acrobat.
  • Save the completed forms — they will be uploaded in the Attachments section of the online application.

Need help?

  • If unable to upload forms/documents, submit the online application first, then either email remaining documents to [email protected] or bring them to the school office.
  • The front office team can help scan documents and add them to the application.
  • Paper enrolment packs are available from the school office, 8am–4pm Monday to Friday.

Enrolment Forms

Out-of-zone Enrolment

Each year, the Board determines the available out-of-zone places for the following year and publishes this on the website. The notice indicates how applications are made and the deadline.

Priority order

Applications are processed in this priority order:

  1. First priority: not applicable at this school (no special programme approved by the Secretary for Education)
  2. Second priority: siblings of current students
  3. Third priority: siblings of former students
  4. Fourth priority: child of a former student
  5. Fifth priority: child of an employee or board member
  6. Sixth priority: all other applicants

If there are more applicants than places in any priority group, selection is by ballot under Section 11G(1) of the Education Act 1989. Parents are notified of the ballot date via newspaper.

Applicants seeking second or third priority may need to prove the sibling relationship.

Out-of-zone 2027

Out-of-zone applications are open. Applications close Wednesday, 2 September 2026. Collect your Out-of-zone Enrolment Pack from school reception — online applications are not accepted for out-of-zone enrolment.

Enrolment Checklist

Before submitting your application, make sure you have:

  • Student's latest school report
  • Birth Certificate, Passport, or Certificate of Citizenship (NZ/AUS citizen) — or Passport with valid Visa (non-NZ/AUS citizen)
  • Legal guardianship documentation (if living with a caregiver other than parents)
  • Parenting Order / Custody Order / Protection Order (if a parent/caregiver doesn't have access rights)
  • Two different proof-of-address documents (see Supporting Documents above)
  • Student Health Record Form (hard copy)
  • In-zone Enrolment Questionnaire (hard copy)
  • EOTC Consent Form (hard copy)

Unable to provide proof of address?

  • Complete a Statutory Declaration confirming current residential address.
  • The declaration must be signed and witnessed by an authorised person (e.g. Justice of the Peace).
  • Applications cannot be finalised without acceptable proof of address or a completed Statutory Declaration.

Confirmation of Enrolment▾
  • Your application and all required documents are reviewed.
  • For in-zone students, enrolment is confirmed once all information is verified.
  • Processing times may vary during busy periods.
  • Confirmation is sent by email — please ensure the email and phone number on your application are correct.
  • Under the Education and Training Act 2020, schools may cancel an enrolment if the student was not living permanently within the zone at the time of application.
